Who We Are
Hospital Consultants is a distinguished private practice group specializing exclusively in inpatient care, proudly serving Southeast Michigan since its founding in 1999. Over the years, we have become synonymous with exceptional patient care and are recognized as the premier hospitalist group at Corewell Hospital Troy and the second-largest hospitalist group at Corewell University Hospital Royal Oak.
Our dedicated team comprises 39 highly skilled, board-certified internists, providing inpatient care for patients from over 300 primary care physicians throughout the Southeast Michigan region. Beyond our clinical excellence, we are actively engaged in vital hospital administrative roles, participating in numerous committees and collaborating closely with hospital systems to enhance patient outcomes.
Committed to the advancement of medical education, we provide teaching and mentorship to residents, medical students, and fellow healthcare providers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement. Referring Physicians
Hospital Consultants maintains strong partnerships with an extensive network of primary care physicians to deliver exceptional patient care within the hospital setting.
We prioritize the preferences of our referring physicians, tailor communication methods to their individual needs, and provide timely access to essential documentation, including history and physical exams (H&Ps), discharge summaries, and consultations. Our goal is to ensure seamless, high-quality patient care through clear communication, respect for physician preferences, and responsive support.
